With over 28 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Amy is the proud owner of Veterinary Team Training. She specializes in consulting with hospital leaders and offers an online continuing education platform to help veterinary professionals enhance their skills and knowledge.

After navigating challenges in multiple leadership roles, Amy earned a Master’s Degree in Management & Leadership. She has held many veterinary leadership roles over her career in both private and corporate practices.
She is the award-winning, best-selling author of Oops, I Became a Manager and Oops, My Team is Toxic, both dedicated to building happy and effective veterinary teams.

Amy’s educational approach is both fun and engaging, blending thorough research with practical, real-world examples. Her goal is to empower attendees to confidently apply what they’ve learned in their own hospitals.
Megan Brashear, BS, RVT, VTS (ECC)
Megan Brashear graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology in 2000 and achieved her Veterinary Technician Specialty (VTS) in Emergency and Critical Care in 2004.
With over 25 years of experience, Megan is now dedicated to managing veterinary teams to be the best they can be. She is currently the Senior Manager of Veterinary Nursing at Purdue University Veterinary Hospital.

Megan has won numerous industry awards including several speaker of the years and PetPlan's Veterinary Technician of the Year.
Her impressive career includes being a Director at the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC), further underscoring her commitment to the field and its future.
